Tibetan & Crystal Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, Shamanic Drumming, Reiki, Vocal Toning & Mantras, Yoga of Sound, Healing Concerts and Workshops

Sound healing is a method of vibration therapy. Literally everything is vibrating, in motion!  Optimum health occurs when we are vibrating in harmony at our natural and inherent resonant frequency. Each aspect of our being — physical, mental, emotional and spiritual — has a unique resonance or rate of vibration.

When one of the resonant frequencies of these aspects begins to vibrate out of sync, dis-ease or ill health results. When this happens, an imbalanced sound pattern or vibration has been established within one or more levels of our being. Sound healing is about bringing stuck energy or out of sync vibrations into balance.

Through the use of Tibetan singing bowls, weighted and unweighted tuning forks, crystal bowls, gongs, drums, the voice and other sonic tools, we find that sound healing leads to relaxation, emotional well-being, alleviation of tension, aches and pains, reduced stress, and many other health benefits depending on each individual’s needs.

How to get the most out of your experience

What To Expect: Sound healing leads to relaxation, emotional well-being, alleviation of tension, aches and pains, reduced stress, and many other health benefits depending on each individual’s needs. People might compare it to getting a massage, or an acupuncture session, or a really deep meditation experience. A typical sound healing session is 60 minutes. Each session is tailored for the client so can be very different from session to session or person to person. Generally, the client will be relaxing on a massage table.  I do sonic assessments of the chakras and bio-fields and determine the optimum approach from there. Tibetan bowls & crystal bowls can be utilized directly on or off the body. That's also true of the tuning forks (using weighted tuning forks is very much like acupressure). The sound waves will have a positive effect either way, so some of that is based on the client's preference as well as the assessment of need. During some sound sessions I use an octave or two of Tibetan Bowls... other sessions I'll do some vocal toning with the client and shamanic drumming. It all depends on the clients needs, intentions, preferences and results of the assessment. After the treatment I reassess to listen for changes and shifts. We do a bit of grounding work at the end. Then there's time for feedback and reflecting together. I like to give the client recommendations at the end of the session for sound healing practices they can utilize themselves - anytime and anywhere! I am also able to be mobile with my practice so I can travel to clients offices, yoga studios, chiropractic clinics, integrative health venues & holistic venues for treatments and workshops. Additional fees are applied for  sessions requiring travel time. Thanks again for your interest. Please contact me if I can answer anything else or offer further insight.
